We operate on a cost recovery basis for academic researchers.  A project management fee applies to all the applications. This covers the full lifecycle of coordinating and overseeing the processes required for a data/ material transfers which includes:

  • Management of Submissions
  • Committee-Level Review and Decision-Making
  • Implementation of Scientific and Administrative Processes involving our finance, legal and data transfer teams

Current application costs for simple data requests are as follows:

  • £1,800 (incl. VAT)  for basic datasets and published data requests.
  • £2,655 (incl. VAT)  for basic datasets and published data requests that require a Data/Material Transfer Agreement (DTA/MTA)

Bespoke costs apply to:

  • Complex data transfers and multi-omics requests requiring senior analyst support.
  • New data collection through clinic visits or questionnaires
  • Sample requests and transfers, including existing and new sample collections.
  • Access to the CREATE Trusted Research Environment at King’s College London.
