EAT-FIBRE

Are you an identical twin pair aged 18–54 living in the UK?

TwinsUK is recruiting twins explore how diet may affect gut health and bowel cancer risk. 

Who can take part?

🧬 Are an identical twin pair aged 18–54

🇬🇧 Live in the UK

🏥 Can attend two clinic visits in London, three months apart

🥗 Are willing to follow a set diet for three months

Travel expenses are covered.

Your study journey

Registration
Click Register your interest and complete a short form. Both you and your twin will need to register.

Consent
You and your twin will receive an information sheet and consent form by email. Both twins need to provide consent.

Start of study
Attend your first clinic visit at TwinsUK, St Thomas’ Hospital, London, for health checks, samples and questionnaires.

During the study
Follow the set diet, complete weekly questionnaires and food diaries, receive dietitian support and free supermarket deliveries.

Mid-study
Collect and return samples using pre-paid packaging.

End of study
Attend your second clinic visit for health checks, samples and questionnaires.
